The intent of this network is to inform interested parties of impending pesticide use cancellations and to afford those parties the opportunity to affect decision made by the pesticide registrants in concert with EPA. To the best of our knowledge the uses mentioned below will not appear on any label registered by the EPA following their expected cancellation.

The following information about herbicide naptalam has been obtained from Uniroyal Chemical Co. Inc., and the National Agriculture Chemicals Association:

Uniroyal Chemical Co. has announced that it plans to voluntarily cancel select uses of the following herbicides that contain the active ingredient naptalam.

    Product Uses
    ALANAP R Peanut(preemergence),
                                  Soybean(preemergence and postemergence)

    RESCUE TM Soybean(postemergence)
