The intent of this network is to inform interested parties of impending pesticide use cancellations and to afford those parties the opportunity to affect decision made by the pesticide registrants in concert with EPA. To the best of our knowledge the uses mentioned below will not appear on any label registered by the EPA following their expected cancellation.
The following information about the insecticide thiophanate-methyl has been obtained from Atochem North America.
Atochem North America has announced that it plans to voluntarily cancel uses of the following insecticide that contains the active ingredient thiophanate-methyl.

TOPSIN-M Sugarcane and
ALL post harvest uses
The post harvest uses are being dropped in an effort to reduce chemical exposure.
