The intent of this network is to inform interested parties of impending pesticide use cancellations and to afford those parties the opportunity to affect decision made by the pesticide registrants in concert with EPA. To the best of our knowledge the uses mentioned below will not appear on any label registered by the EPA following their expected cancellation.
The EPA has proposed to revoke the tolerances for residues on nitrapyrin in or on RICE grain and straw. Use of this soil microbicide on rice fields was cancelled in 1986. Any comments should be sent by 8/30/92 to the Public Response Section with reference to document OPP-3000228.

The EPA has proposed to revoke the tolerance for residues of perfluidone in or on COTTONSEED. All registrations were cancelled in 1984. This herbicide was never commercially marketed in the U.S. Any comments should be sent by 8/30/92 to the Public Response Section with reference to document OPP-300229.

The EPA has proposed to revoke all food tolerances (APPLES, PEARS, PLUMS(PRUNES), RICE, SUGARCANE) for silvex. The registered uses of this herbicide were cancelled in 1985, and the existing stocks were allowed 1 year after cancellation.
